Waxberry Nutrition FactsWaxberry, also known as yang-mei in China or Chinese bayberry, grows on evergreen trees known as Myrica rubra. The Waxberry is high in vitamins C and E and contains riboflavin, thiamine and carotene. They are also being touted as the next big ‘super fruit’ due to their high content of antioxidants. Waxberry is a vital part of traditional Chinese medicine and has been used for several years in Chinese folk prescriptions. 

1) Anti-aging: The Waxberry fruit is rich in flavonoids and antioxidants such as oligomeric proanthocyanidins and anthocynadins, which fight off the free radicals, thus inhibiting the process of aging.  The oligomeric proanthocyanidins in waxberries also strengthens and protects the skin cells, thus helping to keep your skin firm and maintain its youthful glow.
